We are now stocking the range of stock from San Elk Artisan Stock. This is made in Australia, using premium quality certified organic vegetables, herbs and spices. Each batch is individually hand crafted to ensure attention to detail, consistency and freshness. This stock is a simple healthy way to add extra flavour and create delicious meals the whole family will enjoy. The Farr family have been carefully tending to the vineyards of Geelong since 1978, when Gary Farr started out as winemaker at Bannockburn. After multiple vintages at Domaine Dujac in Burgundy (amongst stints in California and the Rhone Valley) Gary began planting the By Farr vineyards in 1994. The wines that followed quickly established a formidable reputation. Gary’s son Nick has since taken charge, and there is no doubt that he is taking these wines forward with great conviction.

We are joined by Howard Crump from Dellendale Creamery this Saturday in-store for a complimentary Raclette tasting! Dellendale Creamery is a small cheesemaking factory with a long history in the dairy industry. The Churchill Rd Raclette is a wash-rind cheese features aromatic sweetness and nutty flavour which lifts any dish, and melts to creamy liquid silk in toasties, raclette over potatoes and vegies and in pasta. Matured Churchill will also boost antipasto and tapas.
Our House-Smoked Pork Ribs are marinated & ready to heat and serve! Our butchers source local, WA pork ribs which they have lightly smoked for two hours on site using apple & hickory wood chips. Our marinades are made by our chefs, using the freshest ingredients. We have two marinades available, Asian Honey Soy & BBQ Sweet Chilli. A delicious and easy meal option that is a real crowd pleaser!
The results of Ray Jordan’s annual Top 100 Red Wine tasting (for wines selling for less than $40) are in and Leeuwin Estate 2016 Art Series Shiraz has been announced as the number one wine for 2019, awarded 96 points. “Interesting combination of predominantly shiraz plus five per cent malbec and a dollop of viognier. Aromas are quite beautiful, with cherry scents and a touch of floral apricot pith. One of the finest shiraz from Leeuwin, displaying complexity at another level. We now have stock of Oxheart Heirloom Tomatoes! These are firm, meaty, with heart shaped fruit that have thick walls, few seeds and a mild flavour. Serve in salads, sandwiches or on dry biscuits as a healthy lunch. It makes a full flavored tomato sauce or relish and the rich red flesh is excellent for home made salsa blend in 6 tomatoes, half an onion, two cloves of garlic, splash of vinegar and cup of fresh coriander – blend and serve. Chilli can be added; quantities and variety will depend on desired heat level.
