Nic Peterkin, of L.A.S. Vino, was born with pedigree winemaking blood in his veins, but his own ingenuity and hard work have got him to where L.A.S. Vino is today. Nic has consistently produced wines that push boundaries and show a penchant for his calculated, out-of-the-box style of thinking. This weekend we welcome four wines from L.A.S. Vino's new 2022 Vintage Release to our menu in the Cheese & Wine Bar, available by the glass, or in an expertly curated Cheese & Wine Flight for just $59.

The robust flavour, complexity and depth of Super Tuscans, as well as their rarity, make them highly sought after and some of the most interesting wines Italy has to offer. Super Tuscans don’t follow the strict rules of the Chianti appellation and are known to be bolder and richer than traditional Tuscan wines. This weekend we have three expressions of this intriguing category of wine open to taste, including a superb local West Australian version that holds its own against its Tuscan sources of inspiration!

Omugi Grainfed Beef produce the finest quality beef that is raised on some of the most pristine cattle environments in Australia. The unique flavour, texture, juiciness and light marbling of the beef is a result of the cattle’s custom barley feed. Serve with a rich barbecue sauce and crunchy winter slaw for a delicious, hearty winter meal, perfect for the long weekend! $29 per kilo, from 1 June - 7 June, 2023.
