Benjamin Leroux is widely considered to be one of the most gifted and knowledgeable wine growers in all the Côte d’Or, Burgundy. The Wine Loft has a limited allocation of the 2023 releases, which we are delighted to offer to you.

Since discovering the wines of Benjamin Leroux at the Wine Loft, we simply cant get enough. With his desire to preserve freshness and purity, Leroux now ferments and ages half of his white wine in large casks along with an ever-growing stash of Wine Globes - often used in the second year to instill more purity.

Across the range the wines are pure, precise and reflective of site and season. The 2023 vintage captures the freshness and balance of the vintage, which was hot for some, although thanks to Leroux’s early picking the wines have the hallmark precision and energy that run through his whites with lovely generosity and mineral drive. Whilst quantities are always scare, these wines are not to be missed.

Leroux’s reds, for those who know the producer well will already know his talent for producing age-worthy wines from a range of terroirs, even in tricky vintages. As for 2023 in a simple generalisation we could say that the reds are loaded with charming fruit and silky structures. It’s a shining year for a grower-producer who does not know how to put a foot wrong.
