Franck Bonville Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs NV $75 per bottle (RRP $95)
Open for complimentary tasting from Thursday, 21 - Sunday, 24 September 2023.
Franck Bonville Blanc de Blancs NV is a dynamic champagne aged for 18 months, surrounded by a richness and smoothness. The pale yellow robe of this cuvée lets us see the very thin bubbles escaping from the bottom of the flute to create a beautiful cordon. The nose is delicate, elegant and discreet. At the opening, the first white flowers fragrances turn into fresh & citrus fruits. The mouth is fresh, supple and generous with some salty notes. The quality speaks for itself - santé!
In 1950, Mr Steve Ward established a boat building facility in the current Boatshed Market premises. The revolutionary12-metre racing yacht named ‘Australia II’ was built by Mr Ward. On 26 September 1983, the yacht made global history when the America’s Cup, was wrested from the Americans after 132 years. Having been constructed in the space where the Wine Loft now sits, it is only fitting that we celebrate in style with champagne!
Franck Bonville Grand Cru BDB NV special available until 27 September 2023. While stocks last!

Yuzushu Spritz, available by the glass in the Cheese & Wine Bar, this weekend only. Saturday, 16 September and Sunday, 17 Septemnber.
This Heiwa Shuzo Tsuru-ume Yuzushu is made with a one-year-old Junmai Sake and Yuzu juice, at a 1:1 ratio. This is higher than most Yuzushu produced elsewhere. The yuzu fruit is grown in Wakayama and is juiced with its peel, giving all the qualities of the fruit, sweet, sour & bitter. It has a marvellous full aroma of fresh yuzu, with a zesty, citrus tart character and a fruit sweet and fresh finish. We have used this delicious Yuzushu to create a limited time only Spritz, for an authentic Japanese experience in the Cheese & Wine Bar this weekend!

This houjicha has been stone ground into a fine powder for lattes, smoothies and desserts. The matcha tea is the highest grade organic ceremonial matcha made in Japan by tea masters. Finely stone ground for the smoothest hot or iced brew.
