Mexico City Foods was the first company in Australia to make corn chips and tortillas using the authentic nixtamal method. In 1978, under Senor Nila the production had begun but was limited to restaurants and the few lucky Mexicans who knew the secret. Later on, in 2000, Chef Luis Sada took over the business and created Mexico City Food Products. Under Luis' guidance the nixtamal range of products expanded to include more flavours of totopos (that's chips for those who don't speak Spanish), tostadas (the real Mexican hard taco) and most of the other products. We now have a range of Mexico City foods available from our grocery department.
Designed by Kinto Japan, this tumbler is made of stainless steel, so it won’t easily dint or chip, with a lovely matte colour finish. The tapered shape makes for easy carrying, and the hard plastic lid is low structured, so it’s comfortable to drink from, too. Crucially, the Kinto tumbler imparts no additional smell or flavour to beverages, and it’s extremely simple to clean. And best of all, you can use it again and again and again!

Tolpuddle are producing some of Australia’s leading examples of these Burgundian varieties, although only made in tiny quantities.
Tolpuddle Chardonnay is highly sought after by lovers of premium Australian Chardonnay and the 2018 is again, in fine form.
"98 Points An exceptional chardonnay with a wealth of very fresh and slightly flinty lemon, grapefruit, white-peach and grilled-hazelnut aromas. The palate has such grace and well-defined, pure lemon and grapefruit, as well as white and yellow peaches. The toasted-hazelnut afterglow is stunning. Hints of praline, too. So elegant, pristine and pure. Exceptional. Drink or hold." - James Sucking, jamessuckling.com, 28 June, 2019
This is the 7th release of the Tolpuddle Pinot which has now firmly established itself among the top echelon of Australian Pinot Noir.
"95 Points This is a very driven and complex red with dried-strawberry, tea, coffee and mahogany aromas and flavours. Full-bodied yet integrated and compact, giving the wine a refined and very structured impression. This is one to watch. Better after 2022, but already delicious."- James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, 28 June, 2019.
